Thank you for your participation in Waltham 135 Block Party following our Waltham Parade Celebrating 135 years of Waltham’s Innovation and Diversity.  We are very excited to have 54 vendors signed up and 40 of them are WALTHAM local businesses showcasing Waltham. We are very pleased to have you all participate in the celebration and have a great day.

 

 

Here's what you need to know as a vendor:

If you do not see your business listed on the Waltham 135 Vendor List you are not officially signed up for the Block Party and you must call today 781-697-4560 to address your listing and go through the proper process for this event.  

 

BEFORE THE EVENT:

IF YOU ARE A FOOD VENDOR READ THIS BELOW 

​

• If you are in existing restaurant in the City of Waltham you already have a Health Dept Certificate and are clear for this event

• If you are a food vendor outside the City of Waltham or a food truck you needed Health Dept and Fire Dept inspections and clearance. Status of your business is in the attached Vendor Line up for Sunday

 

DAY OF EVENT Rules  9/22/19

 

1. Your exact location of your booth will be provided ON THE DAY OF the event.

2. The vendor line-up will show approximately how you will line up on the street. Line-up is subject to change if we have cancellations.

3. You need to CHECK IN to the event by following instructions below

 

CHECK IN PROCESS:

        Arrival set up time is 9 am - 

• Please do not be late. We must be set up and ready to go by 11:30am. The Parade hits Moody and High St at 12:15 pm.

• We have to account for all logistics for everyone and keep things relaxed rather than be in a rush at the last minute.

  

        Arrival Location - 

• Turn on Moody St from High or Maple - Street will be blocked - ID yourself as a vendor and enter Moody St

• Go to the check in DESK for Vendors – You won't be able to miss the desk right on Moody St.

• You will see the table as you go up Moody St

• Provide your name and you will be directed to your spot on the map

• After checking in you will be escorted to your location on Moody St.

• Lines will be painted in the street for your set up area

 

        Set Up Rules - Must be followed for safety and staying organized 

• We need to maintain a fire lane at all times. Drop off materials, set up and move your vehicle to Watch Factory Apt Parking by  taking any side street down to Crescent St and Park at Watch Factory Apt Parking Lot off of Crescent St.

• You can't keep your vehicle on Moody St. We need to maintain a fire lane needed for safety.

• You will return to Moody St via Tick Tock Trolley shuttle from Watch Factory – It  runs continuously.

• All set up must be ready to go and the street cleared except for Vendor Tents and trucks by 1145am

 

        Block Party will be open  12:15- 1230 to 4pm. 

• Clean up will start at 4pm

• You will need to get your vehicle from Watch Factory Apts Lot and come into Moody via one of the side streets and load.

• You will depart Moody when ready via the fire lane once all pedestrians are cleared to one of the side streets. 

• There will be staff to help you and rounding on the vendors. 

• If you need to leave early please let us know at check in
